Posted on April 5, 2011 | No CommentsThe Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) Program in March completed the drilling necessary to install the power and data undersea cable at Pacific City, Ore., for the Regional Scale Node (RSN) cabled component of the OOI infrastructure that ultimately will link scientists and others in the user community to data streaming from observing sensors in the ocean.
