		h1. Welcome to the Ocean Observatories Program Public Space
		On behalf of the OOI project team at the Consortium for Ocean Leadership and our implementation partners at University of Washington, University of California San Diego, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Oregon State University, I welcome you to the OOI Program WIKI. This site for the use of the public, science community, external reviewers and NSF sponsors to disseminate documents, answer questions and exchange about the OOI Program.
		The documents found on this site have been prepared from the Final Design Review baseline and form the basis for the forward execution of the project. The Final Network Design describes the infrastructure to be built in response to the system requirements and the science themes. These documents amplify the contents of numerous science community motivational documents produced through years of planning. The OOI Project Execution Plan gives a high-level view of the overall project management approach, and is supplemented by supporting PEPs from the implementing partners.
		The OOI represents an unprecedented undertaking by the ocean sciences and marine geology and geophysics research and education communities. It is a high-value distributed system with complex integration challenges that will transform the way we do oceanography and interact with each other as collaborators, and with educational and public audiences. Ocean Leadership welcomes your review of the final design and project management effectiveness.
