The MRG/QMF Training will be a two day training session (Oct 6-7) hosted by RedHat at the Technical Training Resources facility. Thursday (Oct. 8) will now be a Subsystem Engineering Meeting day at Atkinson Hall in Room 5302.  The Principles of System Engineering meeting previously scheduled for Friday, Oct 9 was postponed until a later date.

Please make your own hotel reservations at the La Jolla Shores Hotel (866) 392.8762.  Under the UCSD rate rooms are $119 a night. Reimbursement will be done through Karen Schwamb at WHOI.

• Directions from La Jolla Shores Hotel to Atkinson Hall in Room 5302.

Head East on Vallecitos or Avenida de la Playa (depending upon where you parked).  Turn Left at La Jolla Shores Dr.  Turn Left at North Torrey Pines Rd.  Turn Right at Northpoint Dr (third light).  After two stop signs, Northpoint Dr turns Right and becomes John J Hopkins Dr.  At the next stop sign, turn Left (Voigt Dr.).  At the next stop sign, turn Left into Parking Lot P502.  Park in a Green "B" or Yellow "S" space.  A parking pass will be provided upon arrival to Atkinson Hall.  Atkinson Hall is across the street from Parking Lot P502.  Proceed to the 5th Floor.  5302 is to the right off the elevator.

Logistic and Reimbursement

Allowable costs, including airline tickets, ground transportation, and meals (not covered during meeting) will be reimbursed through Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI).  These include economy class airfare (on US air carriers only) and taxis, shuttles, and/or rental cars.  Allowable meals are those not covered @ $57/day ($10-breakfast/$17-lunch/$30-dinner, no alcoholic beverages).  If any non meal (incidental) expense exceeds $24.99, a receipt must be provided.  Karen Schwamb (kschwamb@whoi.edu) at WHOI will process the necessary authorizations and vouchers, but will need all receipts sent by mail reasonably quickly after the event.  Send your receipts promptly (we'll provide pre-addressed envelopes at the meeting) to:
