The Tasks list was commented heavily in weeks preceding the Design Period for Iteration 1, but these comments were not acted upon during the actual Design Period.

Two subtasks were added specifically for iteration 1 (and another for Iteration 2):

• Analyzing the subsystem, its design, dependencies, and tasks, as was performed for other subsystems during the Design Period.
• Kicking off the OMF/MRG prototype (to be finished in Iteration 2).

There may be another development/prototype activity defined for this period, but that is still under discussion.

Design

Many design elements have been created previously for S&A, as referenced in the parent document page. Some informal design discussions took place during Design Week, but no documented design materials resulted.

It is intended that some design work will take place during the actual iteration.

Iteration Work

A team at Massachusetts Institute of Technology has undertaken a review and design progression of this subsystem during the tail end of Iteration 1. For more information, see SA R1I1 Accomplishments.
