(A) Update on Life Cycle Objectives review plans.

There will be a meeting at 8 AM among many of the principles; if there is any concrete outcome, we'll relay it.

• The 8 AM meeting did not settle the LCO plan; a follow-on discussion will happen next week, Tuesday at the earliest. We developers need some description to act on so we can set our course for iteration 1. Alan will try to post a draft of the document soon so the development team can see it and work with it.

(B) Quick progress assessment against the goals in http://www.oceanobservatories.org/spaces/display/CIDev/CI+R1+I2+Design+Period

I do not want to go into details here; more of a red-light/green-light assessment of how things are going.

• Most of the subsystems are in reasonable shape. The COI has some things that won't get done; Michael's priorities have to be with the architecture activities, to support the other IPTs. In S&A, we need to look closely at the tasks that have to be performed for that IPT.
• For the most part, the goals for the Design Period seem appropriate.
